Changing measurements

All my measurements (ruler, margins, etc) are suddenly in points instead of
inches. How can I change them back to inches?

Change the setting in the (Word) Options dialog box. If that doesn't help,
then it's probably not points but rather character units that you are
seeing, in which case you should take a look at
http://www.gmayor.com/Character_Units.htm.
