Is it possible to change the "meeting organizer" to a differen
person? If not, is this a planned future enhancement
We encounter this problem at work: an admin leaves the company, and
new admin is hired. The new admin needs to make a change to
standing departmental meeting, but she can't, because the old admi
is the meeting organizer. The new admin must:
1. track down one of the meeting attendees,
2. ask them to forward her the meeting request so that she can see wh
attends,
3. copy and paste the names into a new meeting request and send i
out,
4. send a separate e-mail to all of the meeting attendees asking the
to physically go into their own calendars and delete the old meeting
and
5. follow up with each individual to make sure they have followed he
instructions, because naturally if they get confused and show up a
the wrong time, she will be blamed.
This is a heinous workaround which could be avoided quite easily b
being able to change the meeting organizer in one step
By the way, I'm using Microsoft Outlook 2002
