Changing meeting time & diff. between white/black clock

I'm the organizer and schedule my boss out for three
days. Know I want to just go into his calendar and change
the times for 2 1/2 day. When I click on the meeting in
his calendar and bring it up I can change it. But then
after I save and close out and look at his daily calendar
the change does not show. Also, when I look at the daily
calendar and see the all day meeting at the top. It has a
little clock that is black for the beginning start day and
also a black one for the last day. I've checked with
other 3 day meetings that have been blocked the whole
time. They show a white clock for the first day and then
a black clock for the last...any suggestions.
