Changing meeting without sending updates

I want to make notes or other changes to a scheduled meeting WITHOUT sending
the change to others that I have invited to the meeting. Is there a way? I
want to just save my change and leave everything (everyone) else alone.

What version of outlook?

If you are just making notes, you should be offered to save without sending
updates. If you are changing times or locations, you will need to send
updates (how else will the others know it was moved?)

If you are only changing notes and are not allowed to save without updates,
what addins are installed? The old live Maps addin is known to have caused
issues with updates - its one reason it was pulled from the market.
