Changing Microsoft 365 Family Subscription Parent Account

I need to switch the primary account holder for my Microsoft 365 Family Subscription. Currently, my account serves as the parent and is shared with five other accounts.

I want to designate one of the accounts under me as the new parent. How can I do this? Would it suffice for one of the members under my account to remove me as their parent, designate themselves as the new parent, and then invite me back?

Additionally, what will happen to the data stored on OneDrive during this transition?

To change your primary account, you can not directly transfer the primary account. Instead, you will need to cancel the current subscription and have the new parent account purchase a new subscription. Make sure to back up all important data on OneDrive, as switching accounts can affect access to stored files.
