Changing multiple basic shapes in drawings...

I have a file with 28 drawings in it (created by someone else). They have
used rectangular text boxes throughtout, and I would like to change these to
elipses. How can I do this as quixly & easily as possible? I don't mind if I
have to do it drawing by drawing. Thanks in advance, Amanda.

Are the rectangles instances of master shapes (available in the Shapes
window at the left of the screen)? If so it may be possible to modify the
master and change all the shape instances on the pages.

If you only have shapes that do not derive from a master, your best bet may
be to select the shapes on each page and set the Corner Rounding to a high
enough value to make them look like ellipses.

Yes, the rectangles are master shapes (all taken from the basic stencil). For
now, I'm having to live with the rectangles (due to time constraints), but it
would be useful to know for future reference how to modify the master...

Thanks
Amanda

Go to File > Shapes > Show Document Stencil to see the list of masters in
your document. Double-click a master shape to edit it. Make your changes
and close the window.
