Changing Nonproject Time Categories

A

Adam

Hi all,

We recently added a new nonproject time category to Project Web
Access. It seems that adding this category has caused all of the
working time for the categories after it to be shifted upwards by one
category. For example, previously we had:

Holiday
Time Off
Training

and now we have

Holiday
Other
Time Off
Training

It seems that all of the time from "Training" has shifted into "Time
Off" for this category. Is there any way to undo this? How can I
safely add categories without this happening?

Thanks,
-Adam

It's a very sad design, isn't it? You have three choices: attempt to
unscramble it using SQL queries, revert to a backup, live with it.

You're right, that is pretty terrible. Is this a problem you've heard of before?

Thanks for your help,
-Adam
