Changing options in File Open dialog

I would like to add my own locations to the Office application file open or
save as dialog box icons on the left side of the dialog box. is this a way
to do this?

Hi Dave,

Which version?
In 2003, you can select a folder in one of the dialogs and add it from the
Tools menu (top right of the dialog).
In 2007, you can select a folder in a file dialog, and add it using the
context menu (= right-click menu) of the Places list to the left.

There may be other ways I haven't discovered... and if you want/need to do
it through VBA (since you asked in a VBA group), post back.
