Changing order of address books

G

Glenn Bruckner

Hi,

I have a machine running Outlook 98. There is the regular
contacts folder and a folder marked as an address book
with contact information. My question is when we click on
the "To" button, the contact information from "Contacts"
is displayed first, but we would like the contact
information from the imported contact folder to appear
first. How do I change the sequence?

Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean. Outlook 98 is configured for
Internet Mail Only. I tried configuring a directory
service but that did not work either.

As I recall IMO provides no such option. Only the full Outlook Address Book
does.

Russ,

Thanks for the response. If I change the Outlook
configuration to use services, that may allow the setting
of a search order to the different address books?

Yes. Corp/Workgroup permits that.
