Changing order of labels in custom properties

How do I change the displayed order of the custom properties of an object?
For example;
Model
Description
Type
Change to;
Description
Type
Model

the quick way is to use the sort field in the custom properties of the
shapesheet.

Well that is what I am trying to do but apparently I don't know how to order
the SortKey. Can you tell me how?

Sort field is the 'major' sort for the custom properties and is usually used
for groups (i.e. an asset group in front of the equipment group), there is
no minor sort. So one technique is to serialize the custom properties by the
sort field. So the first one would have a 1, the second one would be a 2,
etc.
Another alternative is in Graham Widemans latest book (Visio 2003 Developers
Survival Guide) he has a utility that allow the user to reconfigure the
order of rows (connection, custom properties, etc).
