Changing order of Resources

How do I change the ORDER of the resources (in a Group) without deleting and
readding them (as that probably will lose all info entered already)

Not sure I understand what you are trying to do. Resources are "tagged"
to a group. In the view you are looking at the list, can you not just
resort? What sort of order do you want? Where should that be?

It's about a 'private project' working with volunteers.
It turns out that some people will work a bit while others will work more
often.
So I would like to put the people who work most on top of the resourcelist.
I'll export them to Excel (using VBA) and if they are orderd I just have to
look at the first sheets instead of moving through the sheets much.
Of course I can perform actions to sort them in VBA, but it will be much
easier to just reorder them in MS Project.

Idea: create a custom resource (text or number) field called "Order" and
use that field to order them? Show that field on the resource list to
assign an order.

Resoruces have unique IDs just like tasks. Insert the UniqueID column on the
resource sheet and see if you can export that.
