changing orientation of pages and keeping page numbers same

Hi.

I have a document that changes from portrait to
landscape. I want the pages to change orientation, but I
would like the page numbers to stay in the same place no
matter what the orientation (i.e. the upper left hand
corner when it is portrait oriented). Does anyone know
how to do this?
