Changing ownership info for a file?

How can I change the ownership info that is associated with a Word doc?
On Windows I can right-click on the file, and in the properties change
the info for who created the document. How is this done on the mac?

Thanks.

I tried this, but the option are still not the same as those for Word
for Windows.

Sorry. I didn't read closely enough. It seems to me there was a thread not
so long ago about changing the creator of a document but if so, I don't
remember the resolution. Wouldn't saving all but the last paragraph mark
and pasting into a new document window do it?

What options are you looking for? Perhaps if you explain the full problem,
we can be of more help.

You are doing a cmd-I from the Finder, right?

You may need to expand the arrows for Permissions and Ownership, and Details
under it.

Alternatively, try opening up the doc, and using File | Properties. I think
you may be using the term "ownership" differently from the way it's used on
the Mac.
