I have just up graded to Office 2008 and have been trying to make pdfs of Word documents. I have been using Acrobat 7 PDF printer driver in Word 2004, but this does not seem work with Word 2008. The Adobe PDF 7 driver is crossed out in the print options. Word seems to do a good job of making pdfs using Save as ... (or the drop down pdf menu in the Print dialogue box) but I can't see how to set the pdf options. I assume Word is not using Distiller 7.
