Changing Pointer Appearance

Jayne Wright

Hi

Using PPT XP, is there a way to change the appearance of the pointer on a
"mouseover" event. I'd like to show one pointer style in normal mode and a
"corporate" style one when I hit (say) a hyperlink.

Sonia,

I think that, although you can change the "mouseover or link" cursor in
windows....somehow powerpoint ignores it or just uses it own standard "hand
and finger" pointer.....it does in my tests anyway.

You can change the normal pointer...but not the "mouse over / hyper link"
one.

Well, dang. I should have tested that theory more thoroughly! Thanks for
checking it and covering my tracks.

Now I'm curious if it's really a PowerPoint thing, or an Office wide thing.
