Changing positive to negative over a range

I have a large range of figures in a column that are positive that I
need to change to negative figures. Any quick way of doing this?

1. Enter -1 (negative one) in a cell, e.g. H34
2. Select H34 and copy it (<Ctrl>c for instance)
3. Select the range of figures.
4. Choose Edit > Paste special and choose "Multiply" OK.
5. <Esc> (to cancel the selection)

Put the number -1 in a spare cell and copy it.
Select your numbers and use
Edit > Paste Special > Operation, multiply.
(The -1 can now be deleted.)

AB,

In a blank cell place a -1

Edit\Copy that cell

and then highlight the range you wish to change and

Edit|Paste Special and select the multiply option.
