Word 2008?

I would use the Styles.
You can edit them and adjust them to suit your needs and make sure all
modifications are saved to the Normal template.

Use the formatting palette to modify the styles. Once in the Edit
window, the pull down menu on the bottom right allows you to toggle what
you need to modify (eg: paragraph spacing, etc). The Add to template
button will save these changes back to the Normal template for you.

You can repeat that for all the styles you use.

All of my templates load in another language. How do I get the text into english. Or stop them from loading that way all together?

Gee Brian -

You don't say what version of what program on what OS or provide anywhere
near enough information for anyone to have any idea what you mean, let alone
what to suggest. We don't even know if you're on a Mac.

As a wild guess I'd say that what you're seeing is simply placeholder text
which you are expected to select & replace by typing whatever specific
content you wish. If that isn't it I haven't a clue.

Of course it is a MAC...read the title of the section. Mac Office 2008 to be a little more specific. Nice attitude. I'll get answers from people who actually know what is going on. Or who at least have some kind of human interaction capabilities.
