I'm working with an MSP 2003 Enterprise installation and I'm having problems
in changing the user authentication type of user accounts that have been
merged from "Project Server" authentication to "Windows Authentication". I
am able to successfully add new resources to the Enterprise Resource Pool and
change their authenication in PWA from the default "Project Server"
authentication to "Windows Authentication" without any problems. But, for
some reason, I can't change the authentication for user accounts that have
been previously merged. I have tried deleting these resources and re-adding
to the Enterprise Resource Pool using PSCleaner Tool, "Cleanup Database"
functionality in PWA Admin area, and by removing these resources from the
"MSP_Web_Resources" table in the SQL database. None of these approaches have
been successful. When I try to change authentication type in PWA and save
changes I get an error message saying that the user already exists. Any
ideas?
