Changing project server Enterprise Fields?

S

scubaal

Using Project server 2007 + PWA.
Is it possible to change the 'custom attributes' of enterprise fields
after they have been created?
We have a couple of number fields that we wish to add default values
for. To do this we need to tie the field to a lookup table in 'custom
attributes' but the 'lookup table' option is greyed out.
Seems its not possible to change the custom attribs after the field is
created? Is this the case or is there a work-around?

Also, is there any way to set the default value for 'cost' fields to
$0. Lots of our calculated values fail when our cost fields are null -
we would really like them to default to $0.

Thanks

No, you can't change the majority of the custom field attributes once they
are created.

It's my understanding that with the exception of baseline cost fields, all
other cost fields are set to $0 by default (even custom cost fields). If
you're referencing baseline cost fields in your formulas you'll have to
account for the chance that the field maybe Null within your formula.

I'm happy to help with your formula if needed.
