When I change the rowsource of a listbox in the ACTIVATE
event, does it do an automatic REQUERY?
My control seems to be being requeried twice.

When I change the rowsource of a listbox in the ACTIVATE

My control seems to be being requeried twice.

Yes. Changing the RowSource property of a control forces an automatic
requery of the control, and changing the RecordSource property of a form
forces an automatic requery of the form. There is no need to do an
explicit requery after changing the property; if you do, the query will
be run twice.
