changing sheet labels?

Has anyone ever experienced Excel changing the sheet tab labels from
the standard black text to orange? I can remove the microsoft.plist
pref file and that seems to fix it temporarily. Don't know if it is a
big deal but might be a precursor to something worse to come. Any
help appreciated.

Hi

Installing the office update to service release 1 reduces or eliminates that
little quirk. It's never seemed to cause any trouble, and no one has come
up with a series of actions to take that causes that to happen sure fire
every time.

It would be great if the Mac team could figure out what causes it and turn
that into feature so you could pick the colors.
