I want to create a PPS file which the user can switch from 'kiosk' show type
to 'presenter' show type and back. I can create the code to do this, assign
it to an action setting and, after I try it in slideshow mode, when I exit
slideshow mode, I can verify that the change has been made. While I'm still
in slideshow mode; however, the show mode does not change. I'm using and
the target will use PowerPoint 2000.
I added code to exit and re-enter slideshow mode. In a '.ppt' file, this
works. However, as I feared, when I saved the file as a '.pps', and ran
that, when I click on the action setting and the code exits slideshow mode,
the .pps file closes.
Any ideas on how to do this. I suppose that I could use a .ppt and add code
to open in slideshow mode, but then, when the user types <ESC> to exit (also
a requirement), the program will stay on the screen.
Thanks in advance,
John
