Changing size of cursor

T

Tyler

Does anyone know how to change the size of a cursor? I remember seeing
this option somewhere, but now I can't find it in Help or in any other
Options or Format subcategory. My cursor is currently half-size (I
think that's what they call it), but I want it to be full sized (i.e.
the same height as a capital letter in the font currently being used).
How do I do this?

Hi,

If you really do mean the cursor (ie: the flashing vertical line in
your Word document) then there is no way I know of to change it. It
should automatically be set to the size of the font you choose.

If it is half the size, then this sounds like something has gone wrong
somewhere. I would suggest deleting your normal template (ie:
normal.dot). When you reopen Word, it will rebuild it and that should
cure your problem.

If you are actually talking about the mouse pointer, then this is
altered in the Control Panel for Windows.

Cheers
Mike
