Changing Table direction

Hi
I'm trying to change a table direction (From Left to Right to Right to Left)
using Word 2000.
When I record a macro which does the job I get the following code:
Selection.Tables(1).TableDirection = wdTableDirectionRtl
But when running it afterwords, it doesn't do anything!

any ideas?
