Hi,

Start with a regular blank template. Use File > Page Setup and adjust
the height and width. Then use File > Save As > and choose type
PowerPoint template. Save it to the templates folder. Open templates
using File > Project Gallery > New > My Templates.

Hello ~

I have 2 follow-up Q's to this if I may.

1) I'm using PPT for an art project that needs to be 3' by 10' (or 120"). (It can be printed out at a place like Kinko's because they have paper on a roller whose dimensions are 3' x 100 feet, I believe. Is there anyway to go beyond the 56" width of a slide?!?

2) I've used PPT for org charts. But when I try to change the dimensions of the slide after the fact, the textboxes change proportionately to the slide dimensions :eek:/) But I'm wanting to keep the textboxes AS IS. Is there a trick or tip?

Many thanks in advance!

PEACE

You can't set the slide up any larger than that, but if you set it up to 3x10 (9 x 30", for example)
proportions, Kinkos should be able to enlarge it for you w/o any problems.

Make the slide size changes to a COPY of your original presentation.
Then open both original and copy; delete anything that's distorted from the copy, then copy/paste an
undistorted version of it back in from the original.
