Changing Text in One Location Changes Text in Other Locations

In Word (XP or 2003) is there a configuration that allows you to link
words such that changing it in one location, will change the same word
in other locations. In other words, if the word "agenda" is used in
several places in a document, can the document be configured such that
changing one occurrence of "agenda" to "minutes" changes all of the
occurrences of "agenda" to "minutes?"

Thanks

Use the replace function. In Word97, it's under the Edit menu. Sorry,
I can't say where it is in the newer versions.

Thanks for your comment. I thought about and tried the "find and
replace" function (ctrl-H). It works OK, but looks at all the word in
the document. I'm looking for a solution that targets only specific
words in the document; i.e. only when the word "Agenda" appears in a
title.

I think you can do it somehow by copying a piece of text, then doing
Paste Special/Paste Link. The target should update when the source
updates. I have done this many times with the source being an Excel
spreadsheet and the target being in a Word document. It would
probably work going from Word to Word, but I'm not sure exactly how to
do it.
