Changing the color of text in every slide in 2007

I have tried to change the color of text in PowerPoint 2007, but could only
figure out how to change selected text. Is there a way to do this by hitting
Ctrl+A or something like that?

Also, I'd like to know how to change the color of visited and unvisited
links in 2007. I didn't see where in the options window.

You can change font options for every slide using the slide master.

I went into the slide master but didn't see any changes. I made sure that
ever text in the slide master was white, but still the text in the slideshow
is red. Can you give me specific steps? This is my first foray into editing
ppt in 2007.

OK I was able to change most of the text, by creating my own custom theme.
The problem with the links has been resolved--links are now white; followed
links are black.

However, I still have orange text on some of the text (unlinked text, if you
will) on some slides, even though orange is not one of the colors that I
selected in my custom theme.

Any suggestions?

Hi Paul

Any text that has been 'directly formatted' will not change with the theme
I'm afraid. I bet you can do it with VBA though. Ahhh, I should have known,

That did it. Thanks to you both. I saved the macro's code so I could use it
whenever I have a problem like this in the future---I recall that PPT doesn't
apply macros to all slideshows, like in Word.
