Changing the colour of voting buttons

Is it possible to select/change the colour of voting buttons? We've had
complaints that they're not particularly easy to spot at the top of messages.

No, you can't change the color. What I've often done in a custom form is put code in the Item_Open event handler to "float" the Response toolbar so that it appears over the message body.

But that applies only to published custom forms, not run of the mill voting button messages.
