Changing the default colors in the customizing number function

Hi,
I'm customizing the numbers in Currency format so when
they are positive they are the color green and when they
are negative they are the color red. This works by
customizing the number as such: [Green]$#,##0_);[Red]
($#,##0). However the color green that is displayed is
they light, almost florescent green, and I can't use it.
Is there a way to change this default green color to a
green of my choice? Please advise.
Thanks in advance,
Greg

Maybe you could use: Format|conditional formatting and use the colors of your
choice.
