Changing the default font for flowchart text

Hi,

I just started using the flowcharts on Word. For the life of me, I can't
figure out how to change the default font. I would like to do Arial 8 pt
but it always does Times New Roman 12 pt so I'm constantly changing each
text.

Since I'm here, is there a way to do a setting so that you can automatically
put text in without having to right click and choose Text?

i would presume word flowcharts use styles

set up a style "Arial 8 pt" or whatever. if it is only that font attribute
(not para, spc b4, leading etc) make it a character style

do a find and replace; Times New Roman 12 pt for Arial 8 pt + character
style"Arial 8 pt"

if you have a further chnage it's one chnage not lots
