Changing the Excel Cursor - 'Highlighted Cell' Colors

I use Excel all the time and recently switched to a Mac. I just
purchased an I-Mac for my wife and a MacBook laptop for my use. The
'cursor' (highlighted cell) on my MacBook is very light blue and very
hard to see. The cursor color on the I-Mac desktop unit is orange and
alot easier to see. The Question: Can I change the color of the
cursor that highlights the cell? Thank you very much for your help.

When you select text I Word on the iMac does it highlight in the same orange
color? The default is handled through AppleMenu>System
Preferences>Appearance - Highlight Color... You can set it to whatever you
wish, but that is a Global setting.

If you only want to have Excel affected you'll need to rely on an external
force - although I can't say exactly what.

Thank you Bob. It is now fixed. If you come up with an answer
regarding not being able to use the F2 button to edit in Excel let me
know. Thank you kindly. Scott
