Hi,

I have a form with a subform that is linked on 3 separate fields. I used a
wizard to set this up.

I now want the link to be less restrictive. I really only need it to link on
one field.

For example, right now, the form links to the subform on SSN, First Name, and
Last name. I only need them to link on SSN.

The only way I've been able to change it, is to remove the subform, then
reattach it to the form using the wizard. Is there a way to look at what
fields link the form to the subform and edit it?

Thanks in advance.

Look at the properties of the subform container on the parent form.

There are two properties "Link Child Fields" and "Link Master Fields" that
you need to change.

Hi,

Thanks for responding.

I've tried to find these properties. Do they exist in every version of
access? Would they be under the data tab?

Oh wait, I found it. Weird, your first click on the subform area has to be a
right click. It's almost like there's a secret trick to getting to the Link
Parent and Link Child properties. If you left click on it first, and then
right click for options, it doesn't work.

Thanks again for you help.
