changing the header of a word document (dictionary) according to the page contents

Achim Gerber

Hi,

we made a new dictionary with many entries. Now we want to have the
first and last entry of the page in the header information.
Because it is a very huge document we don't want to have sections for
every page.
Is it possible to catch the event before the particular header of the
page is printed and change it on the fly?

I really would apprechiate your help in this.

Greetings Achim

Look in help for information on dictionary style headers. As Doug Robbins
has told you, your solution is the StyleRef field which can pick up the
first and last instance of a style on a page.
