Hello everyone
My company is about to implement Exchange 2000 in a new domain and
organization. At the time being we're running Exchange 5.5 Server, using
Outlook 2000 at our pc's.
What I need to figure out now, is how to update the outlook profile to point
to the new servers.
I've been trying to using modprof to do the job and it solves my problem
part of the way.
I can get Modprof to create a new profile, with different services added,
and the user can start his outlook and the client is working with the
Exchange 2000 server. But what if........
The users have several personal folders added to his old profile, and I
would like to keep these. Like keeping the old profile and just change the
Microsoft Exchange Service setting (homeservername).
I haven't been able get so far, I've been trying the diffent parameters
modprof.exe adds to the sample outlook.prf, which is available at Microsofts
site, but with different results, like when I use OverwriteProfile=Append,
it deletes the present profile.
Help anyone please
Yours Sincerely
Jakob
