Changing the owner of a project

For the purposes of viewing / owning a project what field designates a
person has the owner of a project?

If Sam created a project but was logged onto Tom's machine and then
published it, microsoft makes Tom the owner how do you change it to Sam?

In Web Access under the Project tab, select a project row (but don't click on
it to open it) and then in the menu above choose "edit project details".

The details section will allow you to change the owner.

From there, I recommend having the new owner Republish all tasks, being sure
to check the "make me the manager" box in the lower left corner of the
Republish dialogue box.

Hope this helps.

Depending on your Project Server security settings, you may need to change the Owner of the project to the name of the new Manager of the project, so that he/she can access the project in Microsoft Project Professional. To change the Owner of any enterprise project, the Project Server administrator must complete the following steps:

1. Log into Project Web Access with administrator permissions

2. Navigate to the Project Center page

3. Select the row header for the project in question

4. Click the Edit button

5. Click the Owner pick list button and select the new Owner of the
project

6. Click the Save and Close button

Hope this Helps,

Let me Know if it's Working
