Changing the Project Manager

Is it possible to give Project Managers the ability to do the first step in
the process of changing project managers (selecting a new owner in PWA)
without giving them full admin rights (or must this step be performed by an
admin - no exceptions)?

You would need to give members of the Project Managers group the Manage
Enterprise Features permission in PWA. This means they will see the Admin
menu in PWA, but will only see the Manage Enterprise Features page. Sounds
strange, but that's the only way to do it. Hope this helps.

Dale -

Thanks for the feedback -

I checked it out and this does in fact give them what I wanted.... I am
just not comfortable with the project managers having that access to the OLAP
cube build and related data. I know that's a training issue - but there are
quite a few people who may go "explore" their newly found admin privies....
Thinking I will just keep the admin involved in the Project Owner change
process.

Yes, I agree that giving them the Manage Enterprise Features permission
creates quite a security risk. I wish there were an easier way.
