Changing the root directory of a web.

Hello there,
First off, apologies if this question is a repeat (or so obvious as
not needing to be asked) - I've only searched enough to guarantee that
its uncommon enough that another wouldn't be too amiss.

I'm not very familiar with FrontPage, coming from the school of
notepad-ists, however the latest job I'm working on requires that the
site be maintainable in FrontPage. The only problem I've wandered into
so far is in regards to links. The server where the site will be
uploaded to is Apache 2.0 running on red hat 7.2 without the FrontPage
extensions (purposefully) installed. The page will be hosted on the
server and due to shared files (html and js) that span multiple
levels, I've written all my links from the root level (ex// <A
href="/blah/yadda/zort.html">). Which works fine and dandy, except for
the fact that the web where the kit-and-caboodle is stored locally is
several directories down from the drive ( C:\me\troz ) and FrontPage
keeps interpreting the root level links from c:\. I was wondering
whether there was a way to convince FrontPage that the web is at the
root level (In which case, I'll not speak an obscene word of it
again), or am I going to have to macro it up?

TIA peeps,
Pride
