changing the shadow color on page borders

I am a new word user. i need to change the shadow color on a page border.
help.

I a not sure you can so as a workaround, set your shading to white rather
than 'No Fill'. Draw a rectangle the same size as your border and use Format
Autoshape/Layout/Behind text to push it behind your text area and border and
then move the rectangle to become your shadow in what ever diection you want
it.
