Changing the UI language

Hello-

Is it possible to change the language of menus, dialogs and so forth in Mac
Office? We have a German installation, which now will be used by an
English-only speaker. Does a German Office version even contain the
resources for English, or is there maybe a language pack available?
I looked through all the menus, and found nothing except the dictionay
language and the document language settings.

Unfortunately, the answer is NO. Office is not a "packaged" software, where
the different languages are all included (in fact, MSN Messenger is, and
Virtual PC 5 & 6 too, at least partially - in my French Version 6, I have
English.lprj and French.lproj only). So, if you need an English version,
you'll have to purchase one.

I noticed with Office X that my French serial number worked perfectly with a
US version of the CD. I don¹t think installing the US version and using your
serial number from another localized version is against the license agreement
(but what do I know...).

No, Office is not a packaged application with different languages included.
You could borrow someone else's English Office CD (of the same version) to
install, and use your CD key to install it.
