Is there a way to reassign a timesheet that is queued, to a specific approver,
to another approver using the PSI? We're trying to work around the case
wehre the approver is unable to approve time (sick, vacation, etc..) and
approvals need to be done. It's quite intrusive and requires synchronization
between parties to do this manually.
We are using Fixed Routing so we rely on the Timesheet Manager. Currently,
in PWA the submitter must recall the timesheet, the administrator must change
the timesheet manager, and the submitter must resubmit. Only then is the
timesheet re-routed to the new approver.
I've stumbled on TS_ACTION_CACHED_RES_NAME in the MSP_TIMESHEET_ACTIONS
table. Am I naive to think that just changing the
value in TS_ACTION_CACHED_RES_NAME will transfer the approval to another
person?
