Changing toolbar config in Normal

T

Hi,

How do you change toolbar configurations in the template? I can't move
or get rid of the PDF-making button set, and as it occurs right now
when I open Word, these two buttons take up an entire line of space.

I can make other changes in the template, but this one won't stick.

Thanks in advance!

John,

Brilliant. It works perfectly. I didn't even get an error message.

I deleted my original message because I didn't realize it was going to
show my e-mail address, and I'm concerned about it being harvested for
spam (even though there is a log-in requirement). Do you have any
ability to amend the original posting you made to delete my address?

Thanks again.

Hi Tom:

Sorry: We have no ability to Cancel posts on this server.

I'm not even looking at the same transport technology you are using, let
alone the same server.

I am addressing these groups through the NNTP "Network News Transport
Protocol" which was the beginnings of the Internet. And I am talking
directly to the home server-farm at "nntp://news.microsoft.com".

You ae coming in via HTTP (HyperText Transport Protocol) through one of a
wide variety of other companies who try to "repurpose" our work to their own
commercial purposes. We have no influence over what they do at all.

That said, Microsoft has anti-spam and anti-harvesting robots running on its
home servers. Most of the harvesting robots get castrated at the door...
If you use the Microsoft Connect web interface, it will automatically cloak
your email address from the spammers. I think Google Groups web interface
offers a similar ability.

However, at least in here, the problem is not as bad as you might think.
This address (the one I am posting with) is my standard company email
address that I use for all my correspondence. I have been posting it in
plain text on these groups for more than ten years. Today, I had "one"
message in the spam folder: and it turned out to be a false positive :)

So rather than make it impossible for other users to contact you with
questions and follow-ups, I suggest that you avail yourself of one of the
really good server-based spam filters out there that will remove all the
crud before you even see it, and just enjoy :) Reclaim your ability to
have a real name and a real email address on the Internet :)

Sounds like a protest march, doesn't it? It is!!

Cheers
