Changing Total Pages when printing a group of e-mails

I'm responsible for printing a "file copy" account folder once a
month. This can amount to several hundred e-mails.

I'd like to just select 'em all and print, but when I do that, the
total pages in the footer is for the collection and not the individual
e-mails -- so I see 1 of 300, 2 of 300, 3 of 300, instead of 1 of 2, 2
of 2, 1 of 1, etc.

Short of printing each e-mail individually, is there a field which
differentiates between the two that I can put in the footer, or some
other way around this?
