Changing typed text from capital to lowercase

I have a section of text that was typed in caps lock and I would like to
switch it back to regular text, without having to retype the entire section.
Is there a way to do this?

First, select the text that was incorrectly typed, and then go to Format |
Change Case. The option called Sentence Case will probably be your best bet,
since it will capitalize the first letter of a new sentence, but it will
still require some minor cleanup. Acronyms will become lowercase, as will
proper nouns.

Format | Change Case.

It offers a variety of options based on the context (that is, the case of
the selected text). I find that it almost never offers the option I want, so
it's usually quicker to go straight to Format | Change Case.
