Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Recently, my copy of Excel 2004 has been experiencing problems with erratic window changing. I am running OS 10.5.5 on a MacBookPro. The Excel version is 11.5.2
Symptoms include:
- refusal to change to a new window when clicking on a partially hidden window or when using the toolbar menu
- if using Command~ to change windows the new window disappears when a cell is clicked
- Command F6 sometimes, but not always, works
Please do not suggest an upgrade to Excel 2008: lack of macros, many missing features, including no page break preview option, slow performance...etc etc preclude this option. Why did MS bother to bring out that pathetic Excel "Lite" so-called upgrade?
