Changing WordArt defaults

This problem is apparent to me when I use Publisher (2003 and 2007)
but I suspect it is a generic problem with Word Art across the Office
range.
I use WordArt alot and I always use the same font (monotype Corsiva)
but everytime I invoke Wordart it defaults to Times New Roman.

Is there anywhere in the system that I can set a default value to my
preferred font so that I don't have to search everytime I invoke
Wordart?
(I currently use both XP and Vista - Office 2003 and 2007)

It depends on the style on what font is the default.

In Publisher 2007, create a WordArt. Right-click, Add to content library. Now
when you want to add a WordArt open the content library, insert the WordArt,
edit the text.

Great - many thanks :)

Bed time here - but I will practice tomorrow. Is there a similar
scheme for ordinary text boxes??

is there a way to manipulate, like change the style of word art or at least
create your own word art in publisher 2007

If you don't see the WordArt toolbar when you insert/select WordArt,
right-click the main toolbar and hit WordArt. Everything you need is
here, except for the colours, which are controlled from the Formatting
toolbar (right-hand side, Fill and Line Color) or from Right-click >
Format WordArt.
