Changing y-axis to category

Hi, I'm new and not very experienced with all of this, would appreciat
someone's help.

I'm trying to make a scientific chart similar to a stoc
"high-low-closing" chart. For this I need the y-axis to sho
categories and the x-axis to show values.

It seems like the only way to accomplish this is by using a bar graph
which distorts the way I'm trying to show data. Is there a way t
simply switch the x and y axes on a high-low-closing graph?
