This is exactly what I am trying to do but I am unable to create a relative
link - PowerPoint 2001 does not let me do it (or I do not know how to do
it). PowerPoint 98 was easy - all I had to do is click on "use relative
link for hyperlink" button, this would remove the path (the file name was
the only thing that appeared) - PowerPoint 2001 does not have this button.
I can only change the path if I hyperlink to URL. Is there any way to do it
with a simple PowerPoint file in the same folder as the other PowerPoint
presentations that link together?
Thanks,
Rock

If you save the presentations in the same folder and create relative links
(so that the link path in the hyperlink editing window only shows the name
of the file), and then make sure all of the presentations are on the same
directory on the CD, you should have no problems with the links when you
insert the CD in another machine.
