Char Styles

I've tried this one - doesn't do anything (maybe because it's not linking to
Header2???) I have a document that has several different styles in it and
this Char style has infected every style in the document. So I have Normal
Char Char, MWbody Char Char, etc. etc. There are about 15 different styles
in thed document and every one is infected. I've also tried Graham Mayor's
macro (which is pretty lengthy that is supposed to address any and all
infected styles) to no avail. That macro locks up my document and I end up
having to End the Task just to get out of the document.

Any other suggestions?

There are some instances where the only answer to the style corruption
is to delete the style (and alter document formatting) or or save as
xml.

For all other cases, I use a macro that relies on Cindy Meister's
code, but allows the target style to be selected by the user. The vba
code is posted on my blog:
