Some characters at the ends of text lines inside Visio shapes
appear far too tightly spaced (horizontally) when the drawing is
special-pasted into Word as a picture or enhanced metafile. The
effect is most severe when the line ends in a closing parenthesis
or square bracket. Is this a known issue? If so, is there a
workaround (other than inserting a space before the paren and hoping
said space doesn't come out overly wide)?
I'm using Visio 2003 Pro and Word 2000 under WinXP, gobs of RAM.
Tried different fonts, but the effect seems unchanged; am using
Arial Narrow for this project. TIA.
