Peter Koller

Hi!

Im trying to populate my column chart with a data from a cellset wich is
crossjoined on one dimension:

1991 1992 1993
Dimension1 SubDim1 100 299 399
Dimension1 SubDim2 123 333 123
Dimension2 SubDim1 323 231 123
Dimension2 SubDim2 123 123 231

I would like my chart to display this as:

500

0 | |
------------------------------------------
SubDim1 SubDim2 SubDim1 SubDim2

Any ideas?

Chartspace does not support creating hierachy axes
through the OM or UI. However, Chartspace does support a
published chart with hierachy category from Excel. Your
best bet is create a chart with hierachy axes in Excel
and then publish the chart as an web page.

So to support a hierarchy i would have to create multiple charts in the
chartspace?

No, you need to create a hierarchy chart in Excel and
then publish the chart with interactivity. This is the
only way to create a hierarchy axis chart in chartspace.
Chart in Excel and chartspace are two different things.
